About us

Shaping Time into Treasure

Through the art of jewelry making, we preserve memories not as mere ornamentation, but as time made tangible.

Anniversaries, promises, life’s milestones—

every piece holds human sentiment, the light and scent of a moment, even memory itself.

These moments, inherited from the past, quietly live on through the hands that wear them today and, one day, will be passed on again.

In the hands of our artisans, materials, craftsmanship, and intention become jewelry—carrying stories, cradling memories, and giving form to time.
Timeless and meaningful, each piece accompanies life’s journey.

We take pride in shaping these moments into something tangible, something to treasure forever.

Our History

Half a Century of Jewelry Craftsmanship

Founded in 1970 in Tokyo's Sangenjaya district, our atelier began as a small workshop established by Han Fujimori, who traveled to Paris to study sculpture and laid the foundations of his artistry.

For over half a century, we have remained dedicated solely to the pursuit of fine jewelry—crafting heirloom-quality pieces, reimagining cherished treasures, and celebrating life's most meaningful milestones through engagement and wedding rings.

Time-honored Techniques

Honoring Craft, Connecting Culture

Every piece of our jewelry is meticulously handcrafted, drawing on time-honored metalworking traditions.

We choose the method best suited to the purpose or expression—whether it's Tanzo forging, shaping metal through precise hammering, or casting, carving wax models and pouring molten metal into molds—then polish each creation to a flawless finish.

Building on the skills our founder mastered in France, our current representative, Takashi Fujimori, has further enriched our craft with design and metalworking techniques learned in Florence, Italy. The result is a distinctive style that blends European tradition with our own original vision, creating jewelry that is both timeless and uniquely Fujimori Tokyo.

Forging Tomorrow's Craft

Jewelry Handcrafted with Skill and Expertise

In recent years, we have embraced CAD (Computer-Aided Design), enabling intricate structures and precise detailing that expand the possibilities of our jewelry designs.

By harmonizing the warmth of handcraft with the precision of modern technology, we pursue a form of craftsmanship deeply rooted in Japan’s refined sensibilities and perfectly attuned to the modern age.

We cherish Japan’s uniquely delicate aesthetic and the beauty of meticulous finishing, while committing ourselves to nurturing the next generation of artisans who will carry these traditions forward.

Since 1970, our made-to-order jewelry brand ADAM has been loved for its enduring craftsmanship and heartfelt attention to detail. In 2025, marking 55 years since the founding of the Fujimori Metalwork Atelier by our founder Han Fujimori, we proudly renewed the brand as Fujimori Tokyo, continuing a legacy of skill, passion, and timeless artistry cultivated over more than half a century.

About Materials

Unique and carefully selected materials

At ADAM, our representative personally goes to overseas locations (Italy, Germany, Thailand, Hong Kong, Brazil, the United States, etc.) to directly purchase loose stones to be used in jewelry. By selecting each piece strictly by hand, we do not compromise on the type and quality of the loose stones, and we strive to achieve affordable prices.
ADAM also prepares the most suitable base metal for each piece of jewelry in our atelier. We use hard base metal for the arms, which require durability, and flexible base metal for the claws of the stone holder, which hold the loose stone in place. In addition, we can produce jewelry in various colors of gold, such as white gold, pink gold, lime gold, and champagne gold, as well as platinum, such as Pt950 and Pt1000 (platinum pure), according to the customer's wishes.

Design

Original design that infuses sensitivity and experience

When you purchase custom-made jewelry at ADAM, our exclusive designer, who is experienced in both designing and manufacturing, creates a new design drawing for each order, listening to your wishes one by one. We take the same amount of time to draw each piece of jewelry as we do for the actual jewelry making process. Our advisors act as jewelry coordinators for those who do not have a specific design image in mind, those who tend to be biased in the design and atmosphere of their items, and those who are looking for a type of jewelry that they do not have.

Media Coverage

Magazines, Films, Television and Other Media Features

Our creations have captured the attention of both fashion and jewelry specialists alike, appearing in leading magazines such as SALUS, CLASSY, 25ans Wedding, and JAPAN PRECIOUS. From bespoke engagement rings to one-of-a-kind wedding bands, Fujimori Tokyo’s artistry has been celebrated across countless media platforms. Beyond jewelry features, our craftsmanship in bespoke design and restoration has also been highlighted on television and other outlets, further establishing our reputation for excellence.

As Featured In

For our first wedding anniversary, I gave my wife a special ring designed to be completed over ten years, with one diamond added each year. Seven years have passed, and each addition has made the ring even more meaningful. Since it was crafted to fit perfectly with her wedding band, it’s comfortable to wear, and she absolutely loves it. When our child was born, we even had a birthstone set inside to mark the occasion.

What I love about Fujimori Tokyo is that there are many designers and artisans, so they can respond to all kinds of ideas and requests. For our fifth anniversary, they even created a pair of earrings with a feather motif, just as we imagined. We visit every year, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming—it’s a joy to return.
